Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Greenridge Basin Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Oakland region, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
