Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Fernwood Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Anchorage plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 738 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of work orders and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
