Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Westbrook Birch Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
