Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Cedar Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Toledo, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of supplier deliveries and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
