Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Nova Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Hartford region, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 420 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
