Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Nova Bright Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Louisville and nearby communities. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
