Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Lumen Linden Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Oakland, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 496 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
