Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Northwind Technologies is a community-focused bank in Chicago serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of card disputes and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with fraud alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
