Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Bright West Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Knoxville design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
