Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Northwind Forge Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Fresno design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
