Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Fernwood Lakeside Legal Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for billing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of billing records and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with trust accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
