Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Lumen Nest Manufacturing is a Detroit manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
