Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Ironwood Mill Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Detroit area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of customer tickets and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
