Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Quarry Banking Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of account openings and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
