Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Fernwood Field Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Charleston area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 161 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
