Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Redstone Vista Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Minneapolis, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
