Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Junction Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
