Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Northwind Meridian Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Hartford. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
