Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Harborlight Maple Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Sacramento. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
