Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Westbrook Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Denver area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
