Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Bright Ember Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Oakland area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
