Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Fernwood Ivory Foods is a Detroit food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 87 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
