Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Harbor Transit Planning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
