Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Fernwood Lakeside Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Reno working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
