Financial Analyst - board reporting (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Basin Banking Services is a regional lender in Providence with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in Providence. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of fraud alerts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with branch operations. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
