Financial Analyst - board reporting (Phoenix, AZ)

Harborlight Nest Early Learning runs childcare centres in Phoenix caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of meal programmes and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
