Financial Analyst - board reporting (Phoenix, AZ)

Rivermark Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
