Financial Analyst - board reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Basin Civic Services Group supports public agencies in New Orleans with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
