Financial Analyst - board reporting (New Orleans, LA)

Cedar Cobalt Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for New Orleans and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
