Financial Analyst - board reporting (Miami, FL)

Cedar Iron Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • A relevant degree or certification.
