Financial Analyst - board reporting (Madison, WI)

Northwind Sparrow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Madison, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
