Financial Analyst - board reporting (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Timber Insurance Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 365 people based in Madison. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
