Financial Analyst - board reporting (Kansas City, MO)

Silverline Cedar Foods produces packaged foods at its Kansas City plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
