Financial Analyst - board reporting (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Cedar Civic Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
