Financial Analyst - board reporting (Jackson, MS)

Cedar Clear Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Jackson working with agencies and riders, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
