Financial Analyst - board reporting (Indianapolis, IN)

Silverline River Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Indianapolis area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 216 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
