Financial Analyst - board reporting (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Mill Energy Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 126 people based in Houston. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
