Financial Analyst - board reporting (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Kestrel Financial serves customers across Hartford with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
