Financial Analyst - board reporting (Hartford, CT)

Bright Ashton Civic Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
