Financial Analyst - board reporting (Hartford, CT)

Clearpath Ivory Civic Services supports public agencies in Hartford with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
