Financial Analyst - board reporting (Fort Worth, TX)

Summit Stone Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Fort Worth. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
