Financial Analyst - board reporting (Detroit, MI)

Bright Ridge Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role.
