Financial Analyst - board reporting (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Union Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Detroit. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
