Financial Analyst - board reporting (Detroit, MI)

Cedar Birch Banking Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for branch operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of branch operations and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
