Financial Analyst - board reporting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Bright Birch Energy Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 480 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
