Financial Analyst - board reporting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Nova Ivory Civic Services Partners and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 196 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
