Financial Analyst - board reporting (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook Granite Markets serves neighbourhoods around Chicago with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Model the cost of pricing and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
