Financial Analyst - board reporting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Bright Loom Manufacturing and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Model the cost of tooling and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
