Financial Analyst - board reporting (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
