Financial Analyst - board reporting (Charleston, SC)

Cedar Beacon Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Charleston. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
